It’s that time of year again. Nights are getting longer and colder. Your surroundings are getting creepier. Not to mention, no one will judge you for buying a whole bag of candy for yourself, thinking you’re going to participate in trick or treating (HA!)
I love Halloween. I also love scary movies. So it’s only right that I follow up my last HFnK ep with a new one. Containing samples from the movies Friday the 13th, Ginger Snaps, Squid Game, Child’s Play, and Vampire in Brooklyn, as well as experimenting with various sub genres and inspirations of hip-hop from gothic trap vibes of Ghostemane and IC3PEAK to taking a stab at drill and experimenting with Lofi sounds from the two original tracks that close out the album. It has been a very rewarding experience and I hope you agree.
