behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something.

Throughout history, violence of some kind has shifted the course of the human experience. Some may argue for the better, others the worse. To me, violence breeds an evolution of sorts. Whether we wish acknowledge it or not, strides made for citizens’ rights, independence, and freedom were either started or ended with violence. Many of us experienced love that unfortunately included or ended violently, whether physical, mentally, and emotionally. Conflicts over religion, autonomy over one’s body, even our own mental health has been perpetuated and affected by violence.

At this point, violence is so engraved into the human experience, the idea of peace is only temporary at best, and there will never be a moment where that idea can be a permanent reality. So with that in mind, I took that realization and added music. Inspired by political, social, relationship, religious, and self acts of violence from both my experience and the experiences of others, I present to you with an audio harbinger.
